I recycle pickle juice.
Really, I do! Once all of the
pickles are gone, I buy a couple of pickling cukes, wash and slice them, soak
them in salt water for a few hours then stuff them in the jar of pickle
juice. Microwave the full jar for about
1.5 minutes. Use pot holders to remove the jar and let it cool on the
counter. Add lid and when cool enough to
touch, and place them in the fridge. Viola……I just recycles pickle juice for
another jar of pickles! They are best
eaten after 2 days- if you can wait that long.
I must admit the flavor isn’t as strong as the original pickles, but
they are still good! Try it…..You might
like it!
