Recycling Pickle Juice?????

I recycle pickle juice.  Really, I do!  Once all of the pickles are gone, I buy a couple of pickling cukes, wash and slice them, soak them in salt water for a few hours then stuff them in the jar of pickle juice.  Microwave the full jar for about 1.5 minutes. Use pot holders to remove the jar and let it cool on the counter.  Add lid and when cool enough to touch, and place them in the fridge. Viola……I just recycles pickle juice for another jar of pickles!  They are best eaten after 2 days- if you can wait that long.  I must admit the flavor isn’t as strong as the original pickles, but they are still good!  Try it…..You might like it!
