Frugal Super Bowl Party Menu

I don’t know about you all, but my DH is a huge football fan.  He is so looking forward to the game and having family over, but I dread it because #1 I am not a big football fan and #2 We don’t have room in the budget for a big party.  So I have been racking my brain for very frugal, easy, and filling foods to serve during the game.   So here it is!
My Super Bowl party menu:

Deviled eggs—The cost of 2 dozen eggs is very reasonable.
Drunken sausage coins—kielbasa sausage cut into thin slices, heated       in the crockpot with bbq sauce and a bit of Jack Daniels added for flavor.  I get the Bar-S kielbasa when it’s on sale for 90 cents.
Hot buttered popcorn with parmesan cheese on top.
Oven baked potato cubes—sprinkle with season salt and then cheddar cheese at the end of cooking time. Serve in a platter with a bowl of ketchup.
Cheesy garlic beer bread slathered in butter!
   Homemade brownies for dessert.  Yummy!
   Fresh brewed Iced Tea

I realize this isn’t the usual Super Bowl Party fare, but it is a frugal alternative to what can become a very costly party!

Frugal Blessings,
Lisa

  1. I'm not a big football fan. I like the commercials but that's about it. We usually go to my in-laws but always have to leave early to get the kids home for bed. I lucked out this year because my husband has to work so we don't have to go this year. Yay!

    Your menu sounds great though.
